All for Women: Art therapy and support for Indigenous women

Leigh thanks for advertising the need for art therapy goods and cash donations for Lee and her group of stolen generation survivors. Your corporate social responsibility by way of international advertising is greatly appreciated. When Megan told Lee this afternoon that you would help advertise all businesses that match the corporate social challenge, she was tickeled pink. In fact, she considered that with your help, she may just get to go on Oprah Winfrey to talk about the needs of the stolen generation.
Great news that another business has already pledged $100.00 in Spotlight vouchers.
Thanks for your support, All for Women.

    Thanks Leigh, and thanks Paul.
Lee and her group of women are all going to Canberra for the "Sorry" statement by Kevin Rudd. She is very excited and was overwhelmed on Thursday by finding out that she had funding to travel to Canberra with all of her women and that Imaginif was going to support her in supporting the art therapy group.

I hope to be able to help Lee sell some of the artwork after the women have an exhibition. No doubt that will come at the end of the 12 months support.

What a fantastic initiative this is.

I wish Lee and all the women of the group continued success and healing.

I posted this comment on the Imaginif website, and wanted to post it here as well...

Was inspired by this story and I’ve posted the story for my readers here http://www.arttherapyblog.com/news-and-events/i...

I’d also like to provide inkind support and feature their work (even their stories) in a gallery if that’s possible! It’s a truly inspiring story that I’d like to let other people know more about and think seeing the work they’ve done and reading their stories could be even more inspiring…Please contact me if there’s any interest.

Hi gorgeous ones, well done! and the picture above I find very moving. Sorry I cannot offer money to support this excellent work. I have recently graduated with my art therapy diploma and am looking for places where I can become involved in work like this. I have non-indigenous background but would love to be a part of the healing that is needed. Wishing you well and i hope this really grows to encompass many many people. Please contact me if you think I may be useful to you.
